BEER FESTIVAL 2018 – Budget approved
It’s back! June 28th to July 1st at the very popular Rutland County Museum, Catmos Street, Oakham, LE15 6HW. Oakham is well served by trains from Birmingham and Peterborough as well as local bus services.
CAMRA have approved the budget so its all systems go.
There should be around 40 beers, 10 real ciders and perries and this year we will be having mead! from Mercian Mead. We are also investigating English wines as this was very popular in 2016.
Food will be traditional Rural Fare and gentle entertainment will also be a feature. We also hope to encourage pubs in Oakham to join in our Ale Trail.
Our opening hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be 11.00am to 8pm, Sunday will be 12.00noon to 4pm.
ENTRY IS FREE AT ALL TIMES TO CARD CARRYING CAMRA MEMBERS. Lined glasses will be available.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS from Monday 25th to help set up and helping out during the festival. We could also do with a hand at taking down the show on Monday 2nd July.
